Gladys Porter Zoo
A trip to the zoo was just what I needed :) got to enjoy the fun with my boyfriend and great friends. Oh and the weather was really hot though! So I kind of became tired after the first few hours, but nonetheless, I enjoyed the trip. It had been 5 years since I last gone so I'm all smiles :)

One Day
I wont have to be sad, wouldn't have to deal with the daily bullshit. The lies and misunderstandings from you or anybody else who puts me second. One day I'll be put first, I will be loved and shown care. No more deep thoughts and second guessing myself about whether I did the right thing. It'll be my choices and decisions that make me who I am, and no judgement will follow afterwards.
One day I WILL be good enough. Enough to be loved and thought of every single day to the one I love. No excuses or problems will arise when we have our talks on comprimising such problems. I will have friends who will learn to speak as for I too, need to learn to speak. No more keeping opinions in my head, playing out the conversations and arguments in my head perfectly going my way. Taking risks worth taking and feeling just as good before such history was made in just a few minutes.
One day I will be free of these chains. Almost as if wings were to come out of me and let me fly; fly to all the places in the world ive dreamed of and those that have caught my attention in little magazine clippings and book illustrations. Going anywhere I want to go with no worries in my mind.
One day.

Fun at the County Fair
Once a year , in my county they have a fair, its kindof like a carnival but 3x bigger and theirs livestock. They only come during spring break, its called The Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show. Ive been going since I was a kid. I love the smell of bbq and the ferris wheel lights, and especially the funnel cakes <3 they're my favorite part of it all.
Today I went with the marching band , since we're allowed free admission for participating in the livestock show parade, the first thing I wanted to do was buy a funnel cake cause hey, I only eat them once a year. And they are delish :) oh and the second photo is the plate it came on, I just loved the design I had to share it with you all, the third photo is a little "Lucky bug" that I bought off from one of the side vendors. I thought it was the cutest thing I had to have it!
All in all, it was a good day and hopefully next time I wont forget to have me a turkey leg! Yum!
